Hello food lovers! here is our first recipe! It is for a cake! it is the one we used for our giant big top cupcake! so here it is:

CAKE
Choose any box of cake mix that you want
Follow the instructions on the back of the box
If you are making a big top cupcake, grease the silicone cupcake molds with crisco and then flour them
pour about 40% of the cake batter into the top mold and about 60% into the bottom mold
bake for 30-45 minutes depending on oven and cake brand

FROSTING
1 cup of crisco
1 cup of butter
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1/8 tablespoon of almond extract
2 pound bag of powdered sugar
milk (amount depends)

1) use a mixer to mix the butter, crisco, vanilla, and almond extract together until blended
2) add a small amount of milk and powdered sugar at a time and mix
3) repeat step 2 until good consitancy
4) add any color of food coloring and mix

FINISH
When cake comes out of the oven, let stand 20 minutes before removing from molds
let cakes stand 10 more minutes before frosting
frost top of bottom cake and place top cake on top of bottom cake
frost the whole top cake
add sprinkles or decorations to have a beautiful cake!
Eat and enjoy! Best with milk :)
