Crawdads can also be called crawfish or crayfish 

They are freshwater crustateans because they cannot survive in polluted   water or salt water

They look like small lobsters

In Australia, Crayfish means "spiny lobsters"

Crawdads are fried, grilled, and eaten all over the world

Crawdads can be bought and kept as pets in freshwater tanks
